Secrets and seduction make for an explosive combination in HelenKay Dimon’s edgy, thrilling new series, which kicks off with a novel about two men who can handle any threat—except the one posed by desire.

Fisher Braun knows how to keep a secret. As a covert paramilitary operative, his job—and his life—depends on it. He’s at the top of his game, ready for action and always in control. No enemy has ever brought him to his knees, but one lover has: Zachary Allen, the man currently sharing his bed. The perfect package of brains and brawn, Zach is someone worth coming home to, and Fisher hates keeping him in the dark about what he does. But the lies keep Zach safe. Until the day Fisher loses everything. . . .

Zachary Allen is no innocent civilian. Although he plays the tech geek, in reality he’s deep undercover for the CIA. In a horrible twist of fate, the criminal enterprise he’s infiltrated has set its sights on the man whose touch drives him wild. Zach would do anything for Fisher—except blow his own cover. Now, in order to save him, Zach must betray him first. And he needs Fisher to trust him with all his heart if they want to make it out alive.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really liked this book. It was captivating, full of action and steam, and Zach....*sigh* Zach

Lots of double dealing and decievery. You're not sure who's who and what's what.
I liked the double dealings and the villains were extra villainy.

This book was also not exactly what I expected. For some reason I expected more. More missions more or action? I can't quite put my finger on it. They seemed to be holed up at "The Garage" for what seemed like far too long. Don't get me wrong, i still enjoyed it, i just felt that part was missing something.

Once they get back to the mission at hand though, it really takes off. Explosions and gun fire and all that action packed goodness. I could actually see this as a movie, if it were filled with more side story.

Did I mention Zach?

I hope she writes a second book, because I think I need more Hunter. I'm intrigued as to what's going on with that story.

all in all I give this a solid 4*

Holy action, plot twist, and hot sexy times Batman!!!!

we start with undercover CIA agent Fisher rushing into his destroyed home where his partner, Nathan is waiting for him. Not only does Fisher have to come out to Nathan, but he also has to come clean about his relationship with his now kidnapped boyfriend, Zach.

While trying to rescue Zach, they soon find out he is not the computer nerd he lead Fisher to believe he was. As it turns out Zach is also an undercover CIA agent. Of course the way they find out is while they have been captured by the crime group that Zach is working undercover.

Once they escape, Zach and Fisher have a lot to work out. Both were lying to each other about who they really were and Fisher is having a hard time believing that their relationship was even real.

They all come together to help bring down the crime group where Zach really finds himself in trouble. As with any good action packed CIA group, you have some good old gun fights and explosions with the realization of love thrown in the mix.

I really hope this isn't the last we see of these guys.

****I give this book 4 Exploding Stars****
