Lessons for Suspicious Minds Charlie Cochrane

An invitation to stay at a friend of the Stewart family’s stately home can only mean one thing for Jonty Stewart and Orlando Coppersmith—a new case for the amateur sleuths! With two apparently unrelated suicides, a double chase is on.

But things never run smoothly for the Cambridge fellows. In an era when their love dare not speak its name, the chance of discovery (and disgrace) is ever present—how do you explain yourself when a servant discovers you doing the midnight run along the corridor?

The chase stops being a game for Orlando when the case brings back memories of his father’s suicide and the search for the identity of his grandfather. And the solution presents them with one of the most difficult moral decisions they’ve had to make...

I have come to love Historical's in the M/M genre, though this was my first book by this author, I plan to go back and read the 9 books ahead of this.  Loved the chemistry between Jonty and Orlando, even though they were in the age of prison by showing homosexuality.  It was the small things that made them so sweet.  Love that Jonty wants to clear up Orlando's past for him even though Orlando says it doesn't matter (you can tell that it does matter).

Now lets talk about Jonty's parents,  my oh my, did they make me giggle, especially his dad.  Loved their interactions during their "conferences".  Really great mystery and a fantastic ending,  would recommend this book if you are looking for a great whodunit without sex scenes.

I give this book 4 stars.

This book was given to me by Netgalley for my honest review.
